Please join us on World Mental Health Day for a special poetry group where you will have the opportunity to:
- hear poems from (Un)spoken Word
- share your own poetry with others
- take part in a poetry workshop
- help us shape and grow our poetry group in the future
(Un)spoken word is the name given to poetry events we held in 2021 and 2022, and our first published volume of poetry, launched on World Poetry Day 2023. We chose the name (Un)spoken word because talking about mental health, wellbeing and life can sometimes be difficult and remain unspoken. Learn more about (Un)spoken Word here.
The event takes place on Tuesday 10 October 2023, 2-4pm at DY1 Community Venue, Stafford Street, Dudley DY1 1RT. Everyone is welcome, including those who would simply like to listen to poetry.
