Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is looking for people who are passionate about healthcare and the future of their local NHS services to join their Assembly of Governors.

Anyone who is a member of the Trust, over the age of 16 and lives in Sandwell, Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and the wider West Midlands or Central England can put themselves forward for nomination.

If you are not a member of the Trust, you can sign up free by completing the online membership form.

The Trust is keen to represent all areas of the community on the Assembly of Governors, and welcomes nominations from people within the following constituencies, where seats are available:

  • Dudley – 4 seats
  • Walsall – 5 seats
  • Wolverhampton – 2 seats
  • Sandwell – 1 seat
  • Birmingham and the wider West Midlands – 1 seat
  • Central England – 1 seat
  • Staff – 4 seats

You do not need specific qualifications to become a governor, all you need is a passion and commitment to want to make a difference! You will receive support and training to make sure you have the confidence and skills, as well as the right information and knowledge to undertake the role.
