As part of the preparation work to construct the new building at Dorothy Pattison Hospital (DPH), enabling work for the main estates work will start next week, on Tuesday 3 May.

During this time the contractor will need to close off some car parking spaces, and there may be some disruption and noise.

The enabling work will last for approximately 19 weeks before the main estates work starts. We understand that this will cause disruption for all who visit the hospital. We will do all we can to minimise this and we appreciate your understanding during this time.

The hospital has good public transport links, and there are pay and display car parks and some on-street parking close by. If you do park on-street around the site, please do so with consideration to our neighbours in the community.

This in an exciting time for the transformation of older adult services and the new building will bring real benefits for the older adults we care for. Learn more here.
