People across the Black Country are invited to a Community Health and Wellbeing Fair to learn more about support that is available locally to help promote happier and healthier lives.

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will host the Community Health and Wellbeing Fair and Annual General Meeting next month which will feature a marketplace of local health and wellbeing experts offering advice and signposting to support.

Talking therapies, children’s mental health support, health visiting and employment teams will be among the Trust services on hand at the event, alongside local partner organisations.

The event will also include the Trust’s Annual General Meeting which is a chance for the community to receive an update on the Trust’s performance, progress and plans for the future in the Black Country. It is set to be the Trust’s first ever in-person AGM after the organisation formed in April 2020.

There will also be a chance for people to ask questions, share thoughts and feedback during a Q&A panel discussion at the Dudley Town Hall event.

Jeremy Vanes, Chair of Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust said: “We welcome all from across the Black Country to join our Community Health and Wellbeing Fair and Annual General Meeting.

“It’s a great chance to find out more about how we are working with communities to improve the health and wellbeing of people across Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

“We look forward to welcoming you and sharing the expertise of our teams and partners to give you the tools to boost your health and wellbeing.”

The event takes place from 11am to 4pm on Monday 25 September.
