Staff who are making differences to the lives of people with mental health problems and learning disabilities in the Black Country will be recognised for their hard work at an awards ceremony in October.

A bill of highly-rated staff and volunteers are included in the full shortlist for Black Country Talent and Achievement Awards for 2022.

Due to the pandemic, Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust held its first award ceremony virtually and is now delighted to be able to hold the second awards in person.

Over the last year the Trust has also seen continued development, including us being named as Lead Provider for mental health and learning disabilities services in the Black Country. This makes this year’s staff awards even more meaningful and we look forward to celebrating just some of the fantastic achievements we have seen across the Trust.

The judging panel had a difficult time in whittling down to a final shortlist after receiving over 300 submissions; the response was a great reflection of the hard work and dedication seen from all staff across the Trust every day.

A celebration event will be taking place on Thursday 20 October 2022 when the winners will be formally announced.

Keep an eye on our social channels for updates on the awards and you can catch all the action through a live stream on the evening.
