We have released the February edition of our community mental health transformation newsletter.

What is the community mental health transformation?

The community mental health transformation is a national programme in the NHS Long Term Plan. This programme will ensure that the Trust works with primary care, local authorities, the voluntary sector and broader organisations to transform mental health care and support in the Black Country. The Trust aims to deliver care and support that is more accessible, flexible and tailored to suit an individual’s needs.

To help people understand this project, NHS England has created an animation:

We have created an animation to show how someone’s journey through services will change after the community mental health transformation:

In this edition of our newsletter, we focus on these key messages:

  • Theme of the Month: Launching our rehab model
  • Psychological Therapy Hub (PT Hub) disbanded
  • Complex Emotional Needs update
  • March event update
