Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Carolyn Green as Interim Chief Nurse. Bringing extensive experience in healthcare leadership, Carolyn steps into this pivotal role to replace the departed Chief Nurse Dean Howells, who moves into the role of Chief Nursing Officer at NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board.

Carolyn's journey in healthcare began as a mental health nurse in 1995, working in South and West London, where she gained valuable experience and made a tangible difference in the lives of her patients. Since then, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to continuous learning and development, achieving a Masters in Health Service Management and serving as a Senior Lecturer and Visiting Fellow.

Carolyn's passion for personalised care recovery principles is evident in her work. Her focus on compassionate care and her dedication to leveraging technology and innovation will drive positive change and enhance the overall patient experience at Black Country Healthcare.
