BLACK Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is inviting people to attend their Annual General Meeting (AGM) this month.

The meeting is a chance for the Trust to share details of the vital work that the organisation has been carrying out over the past year to help communities across the Black Country lead happier and healthier lives.

It follows a pivotal time for the Trust, as in July it was appointed Lead Provider for mental health services, adding to its responsibility for learning disability and autism services across the Black Country.

The event will showcase highlights from the past year and attendees can learn more about service developments and plans.

It is free to attend and is a must for anyone who is interested in mental health, learning disability and autism services in Dudley, Sandwell, Wolverhampton and Walsall.

Speaking on the event, Jeremy Vanes, Chair of the Trust, said: “I am delighted to invite our communities across the Black Country to join us for our Annual General Meeting. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about our work helping people across the Black Country lead happier and healthier lives.

“As the Lead Provider for mental health, learning disabilities and autism services in the Black Country, it is vital that our communities know how we can help, the support we offer and how we plan to improve services further.

“Whether you have used our services before or simply want to find out more about us, I urge individuals, carers and service users to sign up and join us on 21st September.”

The AGM takes place virtually on Wednesday 21st September from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
