On Friday 12 September 2025, Penn Hospital will host the 21st Annual Suicide Prevention Conference—a hybrid event bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers, and lived experience advocates to explore the latest developments in suicide prevention.

Held at The Beeches, Penn Hospital from 9am to 4pm and accessible via MS Teams, the conference offers a full day of learning, collaboration, and reflection. Topics will include new tools and training approaches, as well as interactive discussions designed to deepen understanding and strengthen support across services.

With in-person places limited and demand typically high, early reservation is strongly encouraged. Attendees are also asked to release their place if plans change, to ensure access for others.

The conference welcomes contributions from across the sector. Presentation slots (15–30 minutes) and poster opportunities are available—those interested should contact Gaye Johnson at gaye.johnson@nhs.net or 07814 157326.

Attendance qualifies for 6 CPD points, subject to peer group approval.
